(COMMON HOME; MAISON COMMUNE)O projeto ganha forma a partir de materiais gráficos encontrados e recolhidos gratuitamente por Rita RA em Paris entre 2023 e 2025 — catálogos, cartazes, revistas, panfletos e inúmeros outros vestígios impressos que circulam pela cidade.
Entre 2023 e 2024, Rita trabalhou num atelier de arte em Bagnolet, no bairro de La Noue, partilhado com os artistas Carolina E. Santo, Djamel Tatem e Jean-François Haegy. La Noue, é um bairro na periferia de Paris, é conhecido pela sua diversidade social e pela presença de comunidades que vivem em situação de vulnerabilidade. Dos centros sociais às instituições culturais (Palais de Tokyo, Centre 104, Centre Pompidou), dos teatros aos pequenos restaurantes, Rita recolheu estes fragmentos de papel gratuito — imagens e palavras abandonadas à circulação pública.
Por volta da mesma altura, entre 2023 e 2024, Rita viveu e trabalhou no número 69 da rue Sainte-Anne, no 2º arrondissement de Paris onde trabalhou como designer gráfica para a Artcento, uma agência de comunicação de mercados de arte situada no mesmo edifício.

Between 2023 and 2024, Rita worked in an art studio in Bagnolet, in the La Noue neighbourhood, shared with artists Carolina E. Santo, Djamel Tatem, and Jean-François H. La Noue, a district on the city’s outer edge, is known for its social diversity and for the presence of communities living in fragile circumstances. From social centres to cultural institutions (Palais de Tokyo, Centre 104, Centre Pompidou), from theatres to small restaurants, Rita collected these free paper fragments—images and words abandoned to public circulation.
At the same time, she lived and worked at 69 rue Sainte-Anne, in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris, between 2023 and 2024. She shared her daily life with the Turquin family and worked as a freelance designer for Artcento, an art-market communication agency located in the same building.

A agência Artcento colabora com galerias e leiloeiras como a Galerie Turquin, o Hôtel Drouot, a Gros & Delettrez, Pescheteau-Badin e a Ader. Mergulhada neste universo, Rita reuniu muitos materiais impressos — catálogos, revistas, materiais gráficos relacionados — cada um contendo a sua própria linguagem codificada de valor e raridade.
Ao unir estes dois universos visuais — um nascido das margens e da contemporaneidade, o outro dos recônditos do mercado da arte — cria-se um espaço para refletir sobre as fraturas que dividem o centro da cidade da sua periferia. O trabalho, as vidas, a produção invisível que sustentam a cidade que existe muitas vezes nas suas sombras, fora do seu olhar, trabalhando em horários que o centro nunca vê.
Este projeto procura criar ligações visuais entre as duas realidades, compondo uma grande colagem-cenografia colaborativa. Esta obra será apresentada no espaço da escola de artes — A BASE — para ser utilizada como cenografia viva, desenvolvendo programação paralela ao longo de três meses, entre 18 de junho e 15 de setembro de 2026.
Artcento collaborates with galleries and auction houses such as Galerie Turquin, Drouot, Gros & Delettrez, Pescheteau-Badin, Ader. Immersed in this world, Rita gathered another constellation of printed matter—catalogues, magazines, auction materials—each carrying its own coded language of value and rarity.
Bringing together these two visual universes—one born from the margins, the other from the inner sanctums of the art market—creates a space to reflect on the fractures that divide the centre of the city from its outskirts. The labour, the lives, the invisible production that sustain the city often exist in its shadows, outside its gaze, working at hours the centre never sees.
This project seeks to create visual connections, composing a vast collaborative collage-scenography. This work will be presented in the space of the art school — A BASE, to be used as a living scenography, developing parallel programming over two months.

Para criar esta peça colaborativa única, são desenvolvidas Oficinas de Composição Visual baseadas em exercícios de cadavre exquis*. As oficinas destinam-se a particulares, instituições, empresas e a todos os que desejam participar neste gesto, independentemente da idade ou condição.
* Cadáver exquisito, é uma técnica artística inventada pelos surrealistas. André Breton, um dos principais fundadores do surrealismo, relatou que começou por ser uma brincadeira, mas tornou-se lúdica e, eventualmente, enriquecedora.

Henry Miller costumava jogar para passar o tempo em cafés franceses durante a década de 1930. Trata-se de um método pelo qual uma coleção de palavras ou imagens é reunida coletivamente. Cada colaborador contribui para a composição em sequência, seja seguindo uma regra ou tendo permissão para ver apenas o final da contribuição da pessoa anterior.
In order to create this unique collaborative piece Rita is developing Visual Composition Workshops based on cadavre exquis* exercices. With individuals, institutions, companies and everyone who wants to be part of this gesture regardless of their age and condition.
